PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Course of Diploma in Corporate Finance introduces students to the fundamental financial issues of the corporation. The Course is ideal for those who want to acquire a broader knowledge of the subject, which is an add-on for the students pursuing their graduation. The course defines and explains the fundamental concepts and terminology of Corporate Finance. The Course examines Corporate Financial Structuring, Cost of Capital and Optimal Capital Structure. The methods of raising capital whether by mergers, acquisitions, or venture capital, are also explored. The Course is ideal especially after graduation those who want to pursue MBA and individuals targeting any professional degree like CFA, CPA, ACCA, CFP, CIMA etc.

Semester 2: Operational Finance
Operational Component , Cash Flow management- How to start trading companies, Issuing securities to the public , Receivable Management , Inventory Management , Budgetary Control , Time value of Money, Capital Structure Decision, Boot strapping: How to run business with minimum finance ,Use of Excel for Financial Applications. |
Semester 3: Long –term Finance and Investments
Introduction to the main financial markets, their organization and functional characteristics, Valuation of Business , Mergers and Acquisition , International Corporate Finance- Long term Capital issues and remedies , Bond & Stock Valuation, Cash Flow, Real estate Investment analysis, mortgage concepts, and the financing of residential and commercial properties, Financial Distress due to poor long-term financial management |
Semester 4: Financial Engineering and Modeling
Organic and inorganic Business Growth, Initial Public Offer , Balance of payments – Financial evolution of Business, Global Financial Options , Hybrid Securities, Quantitative Techniques, Financial Modeling and Econometric Packages, Financial Restructuring . |
