The course of postgraduate diploma in Supply chain and Logistics Management is to impart basic and advanced concepts to the students in the evolving discipline of supply chain management.  Supply chain and logistics management is the delivery of right kind of material to the right person at the right price at the right place and at the right time.

During the last few decades, the field of logistics has grown significantly with emphasis in several different but related areas. In the commercial sector, business involves functions of purchasing, material flows, transportation and customer service. The Supply Chain Management has always been vital function to companies. It is growing @10-15% per annum. This course will provide the students with an understanding of the dimensions and elements of a business. Logistics system, including, Supply & Distribution Channels, transportation, Inventory, warehousing, packaging, materials handling & other processing.
